Restrict users' from seeing specific Accounts or data related to them unless access is given to users in Account > choose account > Restricted access. Power user needs to change the settings in two places:

  1. The role access rights in Administration > Roles > role name > CRM > Accounts.
  2. The Account that you want to restrict. Add here the users or teams that should see the information.

Users can see all accounts except restricted

By default, all roles have access to all Accounts.

  1. To restrict the access unthick the box "View all accounts" and choose a restriction.
  2. Go to the Account you want to restrict.
  3. When you have set the restrictions, users without permission can't see anything related to the Account. Projects, Requests, Actions, Contacts etc. linked to the Account are all hidden.

View all primary team accounts

User can see all Accounts where the Account owner is in the same primary team as the user

To activate this access:

  1. Change users access right in user role to "View all primary team accounts"
  2. In the HRM > Users,  check that the users and the Account owner are in the same primary team.

An account owner is a user that set as the owner of the account in the Account form.

View all team accounts

The user can see all Accounts where:

  • the Account owner is in any of the same teams (primary or secondary)
  • the account owner belongs to a "child team" of a team where the user is.

To activate this access:

  1. Change users access right in user role to "View all team accounts"
  2. In the HRM > Users,  check that the users and the Account owner are in the same primary or secondary team.

View all child team accounts

"Child team" means a team hierarchy, where e.g. "Research and development" is the parent team (or business unit), which is divided into two "child teams" "Software developers" and "Designers"

Same as "View all team accounts" but lets the user also see all accounts where the account owner belongs to any "child team" of his primary or secondary team.
