This Glossary contains the terminology used in the PlanMill system. Click on the links to view product descriptions and more details.

A


Absence

PlanMill Absence is a commercial add-on that helps organizations keep track of staff vacations. That includes automating absence request and acceptance. It enables

  1. employees and management to plan for work absences
  2. to automatically generate work schedules and time reports
  3. to manage annual holiday calculation.

Accounts

An account is a firm or company. Contacts (and users) belong to accounts. Accounts are typically companies that are potential customers (prospects), suppliers, partners or existing customers.

Accounts receivable

This is the sum of money owed to a business by its clients and shown in its accounts as an asset. It is one of a series of accounting transactions dealing with the billing or invoicing of a customer for goods and services that the customer has ordered.*

Accounts payable

A file or account that records amounts that a person or company owes to suppliers but has not paid yet. It is a form of debt, sometimes referred to as trade payable. When receiving an invoice, it is added to the file and then removed when paid.*

Actions

Use Actions to register events like meetings, phone calls, and to do's. Relate an action to contacts, requests, projects and opportunities. A single action can have one or many performers, but contrary to requests, you can't report work time.

You can transfer actions to calendar software like Outlook or Google Calendar with iCalendar. That can be done complete with dates, times and locations. You can create actions also with emails. Actions do not show in invoice appendices and users can not report hours or expenses to them.

Actual effort

 The sum of  accepted time reports done to all tasks, child tasks and assignments in a project.  

Add-ons

Extra features that you can buy to enhance your PlanMill. Add-ons are by default not included in any module. The Time card is an example of an add-on

Annual holiday

A term in PlanMill Absence. The length of the holiday is calculated according to Finnish annual holiday law. (Implemented by default).

API

API is an abbreviation of Application Program Interface. It is a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications. The API specifies how software components should interact. APIs are used when programming graphical user interface (GUI) components.*

Appraisals

PlanMill Appraisals (Career Discussion) enables companies to conduct a performance appraisal with the employee. It helps management to get a review and development discussion as part of the HRM process. This is integrated with other PlanMill HRM modules and data for operative work, management and HR processes. HR users are able to manage appraisal periods, goals and review topics in PlanMill.

Assignment

A task in a project that is given to one or more Users or Teams. Each assignment shows planned amount, an actual amount and a remaining amount of work.

B


Baseline

The baseline defines the project on three levels. Work, time and money. This is a state of a project as saved at a specific time. 

The Baseline answers 3 questions:

  • What is the scope (amount of work) of the project?
  • What is the timeline of the project?
  • What is the budget of the project?

The baseline timeline can be compared to the present values in the Plan tab in project space. Save Baselines in the project space's Baselines tab. View and compare baseline values to to current values in project space's Tasks or Plan tab.

Behavior Driven Development

BDD focuses on obtaining a clear understanding of desired software behavior through discussion with stakeholders. It is a second-generation, outside-in, pull-based, multiple-stakeholder, multiple-scale, high-automation, agile methodology. It describes a cycle of interactions with well-defined outputs, resulting in the delivery of working, tested software that matters. (Dan North)*

Billable hours

Also known as Utilization Rate. These are the work hours that a company can invoices their clients or customers. Work hours that are not to be invoiced are called Non-billable hours (e.g. administrative work).

Billing

Also known as Invoices and Expenses. To gather information on sold products and work effort for the period and create an invoice. The invoice is sent to the customer either electronically (email or e-invoice) or by mail.

Billing rule

Also known as invoicing period.  It defines the invoicing intervals for a product or service (=revenue item). The billing rule can e.g. be advance payment or invoice every three months.

Billing type

The billing type defines how the amount is calculated on the invoice. There are different billing types. Fixed, time based, volume pricing based on category or cumulative, expenses and non -billable. 

  • Fixed: the price for one piece is always the same.
  • Time based: the price depends on the amount of work hours.
  • Volume pricing: the price changes according to the category or amount of hours.
  • Expenses and purchases: the same amount as the original expense or purchase.
  • Non-billable: this is not invoiced at all
Bookkeeping

A recording of financial transactions. Transactions include sales, purchases, income, and payments by an individual or organization.

Browser

A web browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web. The major web browsers are Windows Internet ExplorerMozilla Firefox, Apple SafariGoogle Chrome, and Opera.*

Calendar

PlanMill Calendar  is a visual tool that shows PlanMill time entries as calendar events. It shows Actions, Requests, Opportunities, Tasks, Milestones and Absences. Use the check boxes to filter what you want to see.  Separate activation requests from Cloud Customers is required.

Capacity calendars

Capacity calendars refer to work capacity calendars. Check the work capacity calendars before creating users, because you need to assign correct calendar to users. You need to have own work capacity calendars for all countries, as well as own calendars for part-time users.

Campaigns

Campaigns in PlanMill are easy to create and maintain. Keep in touch with your target audiences according to your sales and marketing strategy. Daily, weekly, annually or any other time interval. Make them visually compelling with attractive graphics, images and company logo.

Capacity

The amount of work that a user can do in a given time period according to the calendar attached to him or her. The capacity is calculated based on the user's calendar and the days with exceptional length in the user's calendar.

Cloud

Cloud computing is when IT software and services are delivered over the web and through a browser. PlanMill Cloud includes a combination of CRM, PROJECT, PSA and ERP. Those are offered with the relevant cloud infrastructure components for company needs. On-Premise is for companies who would like to have all their PlanMill information managed by own IT-managers behind own firewall. Collaboration

Collaboration is working together to achieve a goal. It is the process of sharing information, learning and building consensus to realize shared goals. Standard Collaboration tools in PlanMill include Document and Calendar. There are also commercial add-ons such as [PlanMill Wiki] and PlanMill Touch.

Company

In PlanMill, commercial organizations and other business entities are listed under Accounts. My Company is also used as one type of Account.

Competence

One or more competences can be connected to a user. A competence can be used for setting the price for work under a project for a specific user or team.

Completeness

Completeness defines how much of a task has been done. Time completeness is the ratio of time spent to time planned. Work completeness is the ratio of work done to work planned.

Contacts

Under Contacts you can store information about partners, customers, suppliers and other affiliates. You can link them to Actions, Requests, Campaigns etc. All Users are also shown on the contacts tab. Each contact belongs to an Account

Contracts

PlanMill Contracts (Agreements) supports the company's contract management. Follow the whole workflow from a draft to the final agreement. Use the module to store different types of contracts and the attachments in one place. This is a free add-on for PlanMill ERP. For others It is available for an extra fee. Contracts can be used with PlanMill Products. This way you get the  available products and services straight from your product register.

Credit note

A credit note (or invoice) is a negative invoice. Create it from of the original invoice you want to cancel with one click.

CRM

The page CRM does not exist.

Currency

The PlanMill Multi-Currency is an add-on for the PlanMill ERP. The PlanMill Multi-Currency add-on allows you to invoice customers in other currencies than your home currency. To invoice customers in a foreign currency you need to add it in PlanMill.

Dashboards

User dashboards in PlanMill is also known as My Workspace. Personalize your dashboards according to your preferences. See [Getting Started].

Data Services

Get access to information about your customers and prospects with PlanMill Data Services (DS). The add-on gives you relevant information about Finnish and Finland based international companies. It is currently powered by Suomen Asiakastieto Oy. The service allows you to get updated, online data of companies listed in their database. For example key contact names and roles and demographic data for marketing and sales purposes. Cost-effective and fast to install!

Debt

The currency amount to be paid to the issuer of an expense.

Document

A Document is a file uploaded to the system. You can attach documents to almost all items. You can see all the documents, links and attachments added to PlanMill on the documents tab. This gives an overview of all the documents available and makes it easy to find the documents you need. You can see documents only if you have an access also to Actions.

Duration

The amount of working time needed to complete a task. If a task has child tasks, its duration is defined by the child tasks and cannot be changed directly.

People-Users can edit earned vacations information for employees . 

Earned value management

Project oriented customers of PlanMill require EVM based functionality. Earned value management (EVM) is a project management technique for measuring project performance and progress in an objective manner. EVM has the ability to combine measurements of scope, schedule, and cost in a single integrated system.*

Econet

PlanMill Invoice Connector for Econet is a commercial add-on for Visma Econet. Transfer data such as customer information, invoice, and bookkeeping electronically from PlanMill.

eFina

PlanMill Invoice & Purchase Connectors for eFina (details in Finnish) is a commercial add-on for Administer Oy.Transfer data such as customer information, invoice, and bookkeeping electronically from PlanMill.

Emails

Keep in touch with your stakeholders straight from PlanMill. Notify your colleges with emails to keep them updated. Write emails to your customers from the Actions or Request module. Or send automatic status updates on their request tickets. See also Email Capture - convert emails to Actions & Requests for capturing incoming emails automatically as Requests or Actions.

Email Capture

PlanMill Email Capture (Incoming), a commercial add-on for PlanMill CRM, PROJECT, PSA & ERP. It enables organizations to capture emails automatically from any source, whether internal or from outside. Currently emails can be captured automatically to Actions and Requests (tickets) modules. 

Email signature

 You can add an email signature for outgoing PlanMill mails. The signature will appear when creating a new, replying or forwarding an email in e.g. Actions and Request.

EmCe

PlanMill Invoice Connector for EmCe is a commercial add-on for EmCe Finance. Transfer data such as customer information, invoice, and bookkeeping electronically from PlanMill.

Expense sheet

An expense is a report that includes detailed info of the personal expenses spent on a certain topic (such as a business trip). Each expense report is linked to a project and date. An expense consists of one or more expense items. In the expense sheet, a user can add and edit individual expenses.

Extended Precision

Every monetary currency currently in PlanMill customer instance uses two decimals as Precision and Extended Precision. Extended precision is used only in internal calculations.

PlanMill Finance Connectors

PlanMill Finance Connectors are add-ons for companies to improve end-to-end business processes.The connectors let you transfer data to various financial systems. Import customer information, sales invoices and sales accounts from PlanMill ERP to your bookkeeping.

Finance Control

Use Finance Control to view, create, edit and confirm invoices. Revenues and draft invoices can be viewed, created and edited in other places too. But only in Finance Control can revenues from different projects be combined to one invoice.

Forecasted

Project forecast calculations are intended to help the project manager's work. It helps to determine how much of the project's total amount of work, cost, revenues, and profits will be in the end of the project.  Forecasts are calculated generally by adding actual (/accepted) + remaining sums = forecasted sums.  

Forum

The page Forum does not exist.

G


Gantt charts

Represents the phases and activities of a project work breakdown structure (WBS). It is a type of bar chart illustrating a project schedule, including the start and finish dates. Some Gantt charts* show the dependency relationships between activities and can be used to show current schedule status using percent-complete shadings.

Google authentication

Google Authentication offers an easy way to sign in if Google apps are in use in your company. Then you only need to log in once to access PlanMill and your Google services. This requires Google authentication to be activated for your PlanMill instance (only cloud). Requirements for using Google authentication: the username or user's email address must be the same as the Google account email address.

Handling fee

A term used for example in PlanMill Sales Order. It refers to a shipping and handling fee that is added to a transaction and can sometimes be (partially) credited to the seller as a reimbursement.

Heeros Venda

PlanMill Connector for Heeros Venda is a commercial add-on for Heeros Systems.Transfer data such as customer information, invoice, and bookkeeping electronically from PlanMill.

Hierarchy

Tasks in a project have a hierarchical structure. Each lower level divides the plan into finer detail. The project is at the top level, and the lower levels contain tasks and milestones.

HRM

The page HRM does not exist.

HR-access rights

A role with this access right can view all absences and accept absence interruptions. And also view all Appraisals and maintain Appraisal periods and goals.

I


Inactive user

Change the status of user from Active to Inactive to deactivate the user rights to PlanMill. This is useful when a person has changed workplaces or goes on a longer leave of absence. This way the user history is not lost as would be the case when deleting a user. The power user can activate an inactive user later.

iCal

iCalendar is a file format that allows users to send calendar bookings, requests and tasks to other users. You can send them via email or share the files with an .ics extension. E.g. in PlanMill Absence you can export the absences as an iCal report.

The page Invoicing does not exist.

Jobs

Jobs are the primary mechanism for executing timed processes in PlanMill. They are defined under How to administrate > Jobs.

K


Knowledge Management

Knowledge Management and reporting typically focus on organizational objectives such as improved performance, competitive advantage, innovation, the sharing of lessons learned, integration and continuous improvement of the organization.* PlanMill aids knowledge management by increasing visibility to all employees through out the operations of the company and helping to document the solutions to requests, activities in projects and in sales processes so that users can view how and what was done in similar cases before. Also PlanMill Wiki is intended to help the knowledge management pains by documenting best practices and frequently asked questions.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

KPIs are commonly used by an organization to evaluate its success or the success of a particular activity in which it is engaged. These are ways to periodically assess the performances of organizations, business units, and their division, departments and employees. * PlanMill contains Indicators, My performance -indicators and Reports which companies can use for monitoring their KPIs. Also PlanMill Appraisals can be used to set goals based on company-level KPIs to teams and persons and review periodically how the goals have been met.

Load

The total assignments of a user to one or more projects in a given time period. Usually the load is compared to the user's capacity.

Logo

You can show your company logo on the invoice PDF and your own travel expenses PDF. Only the company's Power Users have the rights to add the logo.

M


Maventa

PlanMill Connector for Maventa is a commercial add-on in cooperation with Maventa. It is used for sending e-invoices directly from PlanMill to customers.

Milestone

A milestone marks an important point or event in projects. Milestones can only be (1) one day long and they cannot have performers. Milestones can have dependencies or tasks dependent on a milestone. Revenue items can be related to milestones.

Mobile

PlanMill Mobile, designed for mobile browsers, is an add-on for PlanMill CRM, PROJECT, PSA and ERP. Mobilize your workforce with PlanMill Mobile on the latest iPhone, iPad, Android or Windows Phone based touch devices. All you need is a good screen size (3,5" or higher), mobile browser, Internet connection (3G/4G or Wi-Fi/WLAN) and the latest version of PlanMill Mobile (R14.4 or higher).

Modules

Module usually refers to a tab in the PlanMill user interface. Each tab or module is a different feature. The products PlanMill CRM, PROJECT and ERP contains a different set of modules.  Check which solution is right for your business!

My page

You can edit your own information and settings in "My page". E.g. update your personal information, change the user settings and add a mail signature.

My workspace

The default frames in My workspace include Portfolios, My Performance Indicators, Reports, What’s new, Reminders, and Useful links. My workspace, also called dashboard, is the main entry point in PlanMill. Based on personal choices, the sections and frames shown in the workspaces may vary.

Nova

PlanMill Invoice Connector for Nova is a commercial add-on for the finance sector, in cooperation with Visma Econet. All related data such as customer information, invoice, and bookkeeping can be transmitted electronically from PlanMill to a company's financial system.

O


Open API

PlanMill REST API (application programming interface) is a commercial add-on related to PlanMill CRM, PlanMill PROJECT and PlanMill ERP. REST API enables information exchange between various business applications and PlanMill. The interface includes some restrictions on other parties interested in developing PlanMill-compatible interfaces. There may be extra fees for consulting services.

Opportunities

An opportunity is a possible upcoming sales deal, which you can be track in the system. You can relate an opportunity to contacts, projects, requests and partners. Important fields for an opportunity are the close date, status, and probability.

Overview


A Project consists of a project team, tasks and assignments. Many items like revenues,expenses and time reports belong to a project. A project can be billable or non-billable. When a user opens a project, the first category shown in the project space is the 'Overview' header section. That shows the latest items for different project related information. The Projects category lists projects in the system. Depending on the access rights the user can see all the projects or only a part of them.

P


Password

Open PlanMill >  go to My page > Press the Edit button and scroll down to the section User settings. Write your new password in the fields "New password" and "Confirm new password". Press "Save".

Check the page I can't login to PlanMill if you have log in problems.

Payroll

Salaries for an employee, wages, bonuses and deductions. Payroll is also the organizational function and the system that pays salaries to employees. PlanMill does not include payroll functionality but has data that is generally needed for payroll calculations such as absences and time reports. For Finnish customers we have also done exports to Wintime payroll system and Labour union calculations (TES).

Plan

You can use "Plan" -tab in project planning for creating and managing tasks, assignments and links between tasks. The tab contains two views which display information about the items in the plan. It includes items such as Gantt view and Assignments view, among others.

Planned amount

An estimate of planned work time for an assignment. The planned amount cannot be changed after work has been reported for the assignment.

Planned effort

A task's planned effort is the calculated sum of the task assignments' planned amounts. The planned effort cannot be changed manually.

Portfolio

A portfolio can contain one or more portfolios and projects. A project is always part of one portfolio. Portfolios have their own set of reports giving a view over the contained projects. Portfolios are used to create a project hierarchy. You can view projects under same portfolio in same gantt structure and same indicators. You can use Portfolios also as filters in some reports and list views. Portfolios do not have an editable project plan. Precision

Every monetary currency currently in PlanMill customer instance uses two decimals as Precision and Extended Precision. Precision is used in actual invocing and payments.

Primary competence

A user can have a primary competence which is the default competence for the user.

Primary team

A user in PlanMill can have a primary team which is the default team the user is part of. In many reports the primary team is the team used when listing users' by team.

Products

PlanMill Products is a commercial add-on that allows centralized management and sharing of product and product group -related information. Items stored in the PlanMill Products module can be used when creating Contracts items and Sales Orders for pricing and other information. The product register is intended to showcase prices of both goods and services. 

Projects


A Project consists of a project team, tasks and assignments. Many items like revenues,expenses and time reports belong to a project. A project can be billable or non-billable. When a user opens a project, the first category shown in the project space is the 'Overview' header section. That shows the latest items for different project related information. The Projects category lists projects in the system. Depending on the access rights the user can see all the projects or only a part of them.

The page Project Managers Getting Started does not exist.

PROJECT

The page PROJECT does not exist.

PSA

The page PSA does not exist.

Purchase

The page Expenses and purchases does not exist.

R


Remaining amount

An estimate of remaining work time for an assignment. When a planned amount is given for an assignment the remaining amount is automatically set with the same amount. The remaining amount of an assignment can be changed (e.g. an assignment with a remaining of 0 is seen as completed).

Remaining effort

task's remaining effort is the calculated sum of the task assignments remaining amounts. The remaining effort cannot manually be changed.

Reports

The Reports frame in My workspace lists categorized reports available for the portal user. These reports are selected for typical role needs.

Requests

A service request is a work order or"support ticket". That can be also an additional information request, change request or other contact connected to a specific project task. The request associates with a contact in a particular client / partner company. A request relates to contacts, projects requests and partners. Performer can report Time for the requests.

Resource

Resource, Planning & Scheduling is a key feature of PlanMill. See Work schedules.

Resourcing task

Create a special long task for reserving resources for the whole length of the project or the planning period for a continuous service. The benefit of resourcing task is that the project/service manager will know

  • that he has that capacity available from certain performers 
  • for certain time period 
  • and he can promise the customer 90% certain delivery.

Revenue

A revenue is a billable item that is attached to a certain [project] and date. A revenue may contain a fixed revenue amount or a billing rule. The rule determines the billable amount based on time reports, expenses and price lists. 

Revenue summary

Use Finance Control to view, create, edit and confirm invoices. Revenues and draft invoices can be viewed, created and edited in other places too. But only in Finance Control can revenues from different projects be combined to one invoice.

ROI

Refers to Return On Investment*  through better resource utilization. In finance, the rate of profit or sometimes just return, is the ratio of money gained or lost on an investment relative to the amount of money invested, e.g. interest, profit/loss, gain/loss, or net income/loss. The money invested is referred as asset, capital, principal, or the cost basis of the investment. See PlanMill SaaS ROI calculator.

ROI (on CRM)

ROI (on CRM)* stands for Return on Investment (in relation to using CRM systems) representing a ratio between the amount of money saved or obtained as a result of implementing a CRM solution in a company, and the actual costs of the CRM implementation.

Sales orders

PlanMill Sales Order provide a streamlined way to manage quote-to order-to-bill process. Sales orders are created ​​in the system when changing the status of a sales deal to "Ordered" or "Confirmed" (order confirmation, sent to the customer).

Sales Tax

Sales Tax* is a consumption tax charged at the point of purchase for certain goods and services. Most sales taxes are collected from the buyer by the seller, who remits the tax to a government agency. Sales taxes are commonly charged on sales of goods, but many sales taxes are also charged on sales of services.

SaaS

Software as a service (SaaS) as part of [Cloud computing ]is when IT software and services are delivered over the web and through a browser. SaaS application delivery model* is where a software vendor develops a web-native software application and hosts and operates (either independently or through a third-party) the application for use by its customers over the Internet. Customers do not pay for owning the software itself but rather for using it.

SEPA

The page SEPA - Single European Payments Area does not exist.

Server

For PlanMill [On-Premise deployment ]only: Apache Tomcat 6.x, MS Windows 2003 Server (or later) and MS SQL Server 2005 (or later).

Service Request

A service request is a work order or"support ticket". That can be also an additional information request, change request or other contact connected to a specific project task. The request associates with a contact in a particular client / partner company. A request relates to contacts, projects requests and partners. Performer can report Time for the requests.

Setup Pack

PlanMill Quick Setup Pack can include onsite or remote hands-on session (est. 3 hrs) including basic configuration to fit your business process, user and team management, activation of customer instance and creation of first user.

Skills

Skills and Competency Management is a key feature in PlanMill BAS. See People.

Social media

Using Accounts or Contacts, a person’s LinkedIn and Facebook profile can be viewed within PlanMill. See where you need to go by clicking the address on the Account summary page. Google maps is showing you the location. As an option, Twitter widgets can be added to My Workspace using custom parameters.

Subscription fee

A fee based on a pricing model that lets customers or subscribers pay to use the PlanMill Cloud service for a particular time period as a form of SaaS services. See also Comparison of cloud and on-premise installations and integration possibilities.

Superior

Every user can have one superior (e.g. manager) defined in the user’s user form information. The Superior has the right to accept and reject all absences requested by the employees (users).

Task

A task is an activity that has a given start and finish date. A project usually has many tasks and each task has one or more assignments. See Getting started for Project managers.

Teams

A team consists of one or more grouped users. Teams can be set as performers for requests and for tasks, e.g. team assignments. See Users and Teams

Team assignment

An assignment with a team set as the performer. All the team members can report hours to the specific task although they are not part of the project team.

Template

A project that is used as a basis for new projects. Template projects can contain tasks, revenues, purchases and documents.

Tikon

The page PlanMill Finance Connector for Tikon does not exist.

Timer

PlanMill Timer lets you record the time spent on a task or assignment as you are working on it. The Timer logs start and finish times. Timer is handy when you don't know the task yet. Or when you want to start timing but you don't have time to select the task. For example answering a customer on the phone. The Timer function is an add-on to PlanMill PROJECT and ERP.

Timer logs without task won't show in your balance until you have selected a task for them. You can edit the individual log in Projects > Time list by clicking on the pen icon. You can also report several timer logs to the same project and task at the same time. To do that, check the boxes and click on the "Select task" button.

Time Card

PlanMill Time Card is used for “punching” the start, finish and rest times of each work day. This is a separate add-on feature (commercial) that can be viewed on time sheet and does not affect the time reported amounts in the time sheet. The user can compare the “punched” amount of time to the hours he has reported to time sheet and see if the amounts match or not.   

Time report

The page Time report does not exist.

Time sheet

Use Time Sheet to manage and create time reports for assignments, requests and tasks. Time sheet displays the user’s ongoing tasks as rows in a table. The columns show the weekdays for either one, two or three weeks at a time. As a default setting the project headlines can be collapsed to hide the task rows. Normal time, Overtime and Travel time are supported in Time sheet.

Each task row contains the following information about the assignment.

Fields Description
Task Task is an activity that has a given start and finish date. A project usually has many tasks and each task has one or more assignments.    
Deadline The deadline of the task or the date that it ends.
 
Mon - Sun Reported time is entered into the weekday columns of the table.
Week total The total amount of work hours the user recorded for a specific week.
Remain The total amount of work hours the user remaining for a specific task.
Status
Where in the process of completion the task is at the moment.
Task type The type of task, which can be: Time-based, Fixed, Non-billable, and so on.
Assigned Shows whether it is a personal or team assignment. The default is Personal.

Total amount

An assignment's total amount is the calculated sum of the assignment's actual amount + remaining amount. The total amount cannot manually be changed.

Total effort

A task's total effort is the calculated sum of the task assignment's total amounts. The total effort cannot manually be changed.

Users

Users are resources and part of one or many Teams and Assignments. All users have a user name and can log in to PlanMill. Users also refer to all the persons or employees in the company listed in the HR database. That, for example, can report time using Time Sheet or Timer. Each user belongs to an account. All users are shown under Contacts. A team consists of one or more grouped users. Teams can be set as performers for requests and for tasks in Projects.

Vacation year

Contains data on employees’ vacation year amounts and the time showing remaining work days, annual holidays, and remaining bonus holidays.

VAT number

The Value added tax identification number (VATIN) or VAT number* is an identifier used in many countries, including the countries of the European Union for Value Added Tax purposes.

vCard

PlanMill Mobile users can easily download vCards as phone contacts to their smartphones. A vCard is a file format standard for electronic business cards, often attached to e-mail messages containing name and address information, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, URLs, logos, photographs, and audio clips.

Work Scheduler is commonly used by the Resource & Project Manager for tracking tasks, requests, and their deadlines and shows assignments and performers assigned to the tasks. In PlanMill Absence, this is useful for checking current resources for the company during multiple projects.

Work Schedules

Work schedules is a resource management tool for resource managers and project managers. Usually team members do not have editing rights. It is generally recommended that everyone can see what work and how much work is scheduled for them for each period. Work Schedules also shows the absence situation. So you can use it for planning e.g annual holidays.
